A beautiful young Londoner lady is going to rule the world. After all theses years waiting for its new talent, Britain found it and her name is Anna Calvi.
Half italian half english the young singer and great guitarist has been brought up in London and spent some time in Rome.
Spotted by Ben Lovett of Mumford and Sons and just signed by the independent label Domino Records, she has aready made her name on stage giving mesmerising intense performances, reminding PJ Harvey and Jeff Buckley with a unique blend of atmospheric romantic pop.
She’s got suport from great names such as Brian Eno who was astonished by her performance in Paris a few days ago, we should see her again soon on the front page of the magazines. If you see her name on a gig poster near your place, don’t miss out your chance.
We look forward to her debut album she is currently recording.

After the huge sucess of their first album “Oracular Spectacular”, MGMT is back with “Congratulations” produced by the legendary psychedelic Pete “Sonic Boom” Kember of Spacemen 3, out the 13th of April.
They have announced that they won’t release any single. Bad news for Columbia, their record company but it shows that the New York band wants to change direction. It’s no time to pretend any more but to be sincere. Their second album reflects their musical influences and gathers some sweet psychedelic pop tracks.
The album leaked so they have decided to offer the streaming on their website before the release, altruistic gift or a new marketing virus? who cares.
