Dom Thomas: The Exploding Disco Inevitable

6 years ago, Finders Keepers records appeared on earth with a clear target: to be the worldwide groove provider. The mission was to reissue some weird psychedelic sounds from all around the globe, from space-age Turkish protest songs and Welsh rare-beats to persian Funk and Bollywood beats. The mission has been achieved, helped by their Californian alter ego Stones Throw. Not sure it helps to understand which sound we are talking about, but be sure these guys know their stuff. Mental Vinyl diggers looking for the perfect groove, taking pride on ressurecting lost vinyls. The Manchester label is home for Andy Votel, the Gaslamp killer and Dom Thomas.
After the acclaimed “Miscellaneous Mutant Mishaps”, Dom Thomas released the “exploding disco inevitable”, an explosive mix of Denizen Funk, Psyche Rock and Proto House, crossing boundaries and defying genre classification. So refreshing and groovy.
